Context

Horatio Dental supplies dental professionals in Morocco. Buyers need to find clinical products quickly, understand the purchase options, and follow an order without losing the context of their practice.

Problem

A dense catalogue can slow down a repeat purchase on a phone. The storefront also has to keep product, order, and customer information aligned with the business system that operates behind it.

Existing architecture

The project moved from a conventional shop model toward an app-like mobile journey. The storefront can operate from a local catalogue snapshot; Horatio OS is documented separately as the operational source for catalogue, orders, and loyalty.

Solution architecture

The mobile interface puts category discovery, product details, basket, checkout, orders, and account access within a compact navigation pattern. Product details open without breaking the shopping flow, and the basket remains available during browsing.

Horatio OS owns the operational records. The storefront stores a local view for resilience and exchanges catalogue, order, and loyalty data through a controlled server-side integration.

Implementation

The storefront repository documents a Next.js application with product search, cart, checkout, order tracking, and a local analytics dashboard. It also documents a catalogue snapshot and differential updates from Horatio OS.

Order submissions are recorded locally before transfer so a temporary system outage does not erase the customer's request. Payment options documented for this build are cash on delivery and bank transfer; a card gateway is not claimed.

Validation

The public storefront confirms the live browsing and category journeys. The repository documents the order and integration paths, including tests for the signed connection. No sales uplift or conversion result is presented because none has been verified for this case.
